How to have a less stressful and more meaningful Christmas

Now that Thanksgiving, 2025 is in the books, many of us realize we have a  long list of things that "must be done" before December 25.  Buying presents, office parties, kids' programs, recitals, church events, and family gatherings all seem to cosume every spare minute we have!

Where is the calm, peace and tranquility this time of year is supposed to bring?  Sometimes, we feel as if we might have lost sight of the little baby, born in Bethleham and laying in a manger.

Please join us this Christmas season as we begin our new message series that will help us reconnect and achieve rest during this otherwise hectic time of year.

1.  How to stop doing and start receiving.

2. How can I worship when I'm worn out?

3. How do I give when I feel empty?

How to share what you've been given without burning out.

Special Announcements

Giving Tree - Bless a Child in Need

The Giving Tee is up in the main entrance by the worship center.  Please take a name and purchase a givt for a  child in Pike Country who might not otherwise receive Christmas presents.  Let's share the love of Christ with our community this Christmas season.

 Lay Servant Basic Course Opportunity

Our church will be hosting the Basic Course beginning the last Saturday of January and continuing into February.

If you are interested, please let Pastor John know.

Participants must be approved by the Ad Council, and approval will be finalized at the January Ad Council meeting, so now is the time to reach out!

New Ministry - Visiting Team

We are excited to launch a visiting team ministry to help care for our nursing home residents and shut-ins.  We are looking for 4 - 5 people (or more!) to join this ministry of love and presence.

The more volunteers, the lighter the load - and the more lives we can touch.

If you feel called to be a part of this important ministry, please let Pastor John know.
